Army Coordination Gets Urgent Needs at Batticaloa Hospital

The Kattankudy Muslim Federation in response to a request, projected by hospital authorities through Major General Nalin Koswatta, General Officer Commanding, 23 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - East in his capacity as the Coordinator for COVID-19 control in Batticaloa, gifted a 80 Degree ULT Freezer and a Mortuary Container, worth about Rs 4 million to the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital on Saturday (11).

Major General Nalin Koswatta, together with representatives of donor organization, handed over those urgent facilities to the Director Teaching Hospital Batticaloa, Dr Mrs Kala Ganeshalingham in the presence of Brigadier Dilupa Bandara, Brigade Commander, 231 Brigade.

Additional District Secretary for Batticaloa, Mrs S Srikanth and senior medical staff at the Teaching Hospital Batticaloa joined the event.
