HE the Ambassador of Indonesia in Sri Lanka, Mrs. Dewi Gustina Tobing, together with Mr. Heru Prayitno, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Indonesia in Sri Lanka at the invitation of the Army paid a courtesy call on Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army on Wednesday (11) at the Commander’s office at Army Headquarters.
The cordial interactive meeting exchanged views on general matters of concern and the Army’s development-oriented roles. Both of them recalled long-lasting bonds of goodwill, cooperation, and bilateral relationship that exist between both countries and possibilities for enhancement of training openings for Sri Lankan Armed Forces and participation in joint exercises.
Towards the culmination of the friendly meet, the Army Chief presented mementos to the visiting HE the Ambassador of Indonesia and Minister Councilor as tokens of goodwill and co-operation.
