Alma Mater Honours Senior Officer Inviting Him to Award Ceremony

Major General Priyantha Weerasinghe, Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North-Central) and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, an old boy of Kotte Ananda Shasthrale College participated in the awarding ceremony of the Annual Sport meet as the Chief Guest on Thursday (12 January).

The Principal at Kotte Ananda Shasthrale, together with teachers warmly welcomed the day’s Chief Guest on arrival at the school before he was honoured and saluted by the Cadet platoon of the College.

A little while later, Major General Priyantha Weerasinghe was invited to award trophies and prizes to the achievers in the annual Sports Meet. The day’s Chief Guest addressed the students afterwards and inspired them underlining the importance of sports before he took leave of them.
