Adding one more project to the series of community-oriented schemes, 521 Brigade Headquarters under the 52 Division in Varani, Jaffna recently, conducted a blood donation campaign with the participation of officers and other ranks serving the Division.
Medical officers and staff at Manthikai Base Hospital attended the blood donation at the invitation of the 521 Brigade Headquarters. More than 100 officers and soldiers, Police personnel and members of the civil society joined together to donate blood during the programme.
The inauguration of the mobile clinic was attended by the General Officer Commanding, 52 Division, Divisional Secretary for Point Pedro, 521 Brigade civil affairs officer, 19 (v) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment senior officers and several others.
