All Positive Cases of Minuwangoda Cluster Fully Recovered - NOCPCO

As of this morning (22), a total of 370 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Of them, six are Sri Lankan expatriates and the rest 364 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 101 from Colombo, 67 from Gampaha district, 46 from Kalutara District and other 150 are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (22), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 33,950. Meanwhile, 25,274 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from both Minuwangoda (3,059) and fish market (30,891) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

Up to date all positive cases of Minuwangoda garment factory cluster (3,059) are fully recovered.

Up to yesterday (21), a total of 37,630 persons have been confirmed COVID-19 positive from all over the country, including the dead. 28,681 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 8,873 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

By this morning (22), 415 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centers in the last 24 hours. In the past 24 hours. No deaths have been reported accordingly, the death toll from the country remains as 176 in this morning (22).

By this morning (22), the flight EY 264 from UAE with 50 passengers, the flight UL554 from Lebanon with 27 passengers and the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 35 passengers have arrived. The flight UL 471from Korea with 283, the flight UL218 from Qatar with 23 passengers, the flight UL 504 from UK with 26 passengers, the flight TK 730 from Turkey with 10 Passengers, the flight EK 648 from UAE with 90 Passengers and the flight SQ468 from Singapore with 05 passengers expected to arrive here within the day. They all were/were to be referred to Quarantine Centers (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.
