The Airmobile Training School - Nikawewa marked the successful conclusion of Air Assault Course No - 28 with a passing out ceremony on 01 April 2024.
The event was graced by Major General S.B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, the Commander of 1 Corps, as the chief guest, following an invitation from the Commandant of Airmobile Training School. A total of 95 personnel completed the course, including 5 Officers and 90 Other Rankers.
The chief guest presented certificates to the following achievers:
- Best Student and Best Shooter - Captain P.F.A.L Fonseka of Gajaba Regiment.
- Best Student in Physical Fitness - Corporal U.E Silva of Gemunu Watch
The General Officer Commanding of 53 Infantry Division (RSF), Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participate in the event.
