The Passing out Parade of the Air Mobile Course No- 25 got underway on 11 January at Air Mobile Training School at Nikawewa. Major General Nishantha Manage, Commander 1 Corps graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The day’s Chief Guest on arrival at the premises was saluted at first in a ceremonial Guard Turnout and invited to receive the salute of the parade, presented by the day’s passing out graduates.
03 officers and 140 Other Ranks serving under the 1 Corps followed the course. Lance Corporal J.S.C Jinarathne received the award as the Best in the Course and Corporal W.M.D.N Bandara was awarded the certificate as the Best student and Best Shooter of the Course.
Major General Shanaka Rathnayake, General Officer Commanding of 53 Infantry Division, Major General Wipula Ihalage, General Officer Commanding of 58 Infantry Division, Brigadier Subath Sanjeewa, Commander, Air Mobile Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers witnessed the Passing Out Parade.
