Addressing Administrative Concerns of Retired Personnel at 5 GW

A program was conducted at 5 Gemunu Watch (GW) on 24 March 2024, to address administrative concerns affecting retired personnel from various ranks of the GW. The event brought together retired Officers and Other Ranks. Discussions during the gathering focused on a range of administrative issues concerning retired personnel, involving representatives from the Directorate of Personal Administration, Directorate of Welfare, Directorate of Army Medical Services, and Directorate of Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation.

The event was graced by Major General S.W.B. Welagedara RSP VSV USP ndc, the Colonel of the Regiment GW, as the chief guest. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
