THE ANNUAL SPORTS MEET at Anuradhapura Ran Kekulu Pre-school, run by Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) was held at Pre-school ground on 20th March 2010.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya, President SVAB.
This was organized to improve the sports skills of the pre-school students. Tricycle races, obstacle crossing, fancy dress parades, team events and PT display, etc were among prominent and interesting features in the event. The winners were given away special prizes. Teachers and parents also were entertained to various fun-making events during this sports meet. Major General Kamal Gunarathna, Commander Security Forces, Wanni, Mrs Chithrani Gunarathna, senior SVAB members, pre-school teachers, students, their parents and several officers in the Army attended the day’s event.
