The newly- constructed library of the 9 Sri Lanka Engineers’ Camp at Kokavil, 'Denum Piyasa' recently received a donation of books from the National Library and Documentation Service Board.
In response to a request made by 9 Sri Lanka Engineers, Mr Kalana Chandimal Vakishta of the National Library and Documentation Service Board arranged the donation to the 'Denum Piyasa' library of the 9 SLE camp in Kilinochchi.
The project, an attempt to revitalize the habit of book reading and distract from digital screens was commended by the donor. 9 SLE Commanding Officer received the stock of books and thanked the donor for the initiative.
