Troops of the 9 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) of the 681 Brigade of the 68 Division under the Security Force HQ Mullaittivu offered their assistance to Road Development Authority workers for the repair of the road patch between Sugandhipuram and Udayar Kattu school on Tuesday (9) after an initiative to this effect was taken by the Army.
The 9 SLNG Commanding Officer supervised this project in cooperation with civil authorities.
Meanwhile, 6 Sri Lanka National Guard troops under command of the 681 Brigade of the 68 Division under the Security Force HQ Mullaittivu joined hands with civil workers to clean the coastal belt in Wallai Madam area on Tuesday (9).
The Commanding Officer, 6 SLNG supervised this activity and guided his troops to co-operate with civil workers to fulfill the community services.
