8,027 Persons Still in Quarantine Centres-NOCPCO

As of this morning (8), a total of 772 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All of them are locally-identified ones, including the majority 245 from Colombo district, 214 from Gampaha district, 53 from Rathnepura district and 260 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (8), a total of 69,347 persons, inclusive of 65,352 of the fish market have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 63,400 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 5,591 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

In the past 24 hours, 807 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 5 more deaths have been reported from Colombo 15, Welimada, Wakwella, Pamunugama and Dummalasuriya areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 356 by this morning (8).

As of this morning (8), 8,027 persons in 91 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (7), 15,746 PCR tests have been conducted.Nike sneakers | Hats to Match Jordans Hyper Royal Bulls Hat
