755 more Persons Confirmed Positive to COVID-19 in the Past 24 Hours -NOCPCO

As of this morning (27), a total of 755 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.7 are Sri Lanka Expatriates and others are locally-identified ones, including the majority 369 from Colombo district, 124 from Gampaha district, 80 from Kalutara district and other 175 from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (27), a total of 59,921 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 51,048 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 8,588 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (27), 709 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the past 24 hours. One more death has been reported from Ragama area in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 288 by this morning (27).
