Eight volleyball teams, representing battalions under command to the Security Force HQ- Central recently participated in a volleyball tournament, organized at the Muththukumaru ground in Diyatalawa.
The final tussle between 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police were held on Wednesday (26) and 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps players won the championship 2-0 in the final encounter.
Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces- Central as the Chief Guest awarded certificates and trophies to the winners, runners up and participants.
Few Senior Officers attended the awarding ceremony.
