The New Year celebration of the 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (7 SLSC) was held on Monday (9) at the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen), Diyatalawa on the directions of Lieutenant Colonel Nandana Weeratunga, Commanding Officer, 7 SLSC.
Colonel A.P Wickramasekara, Commanding Officer, Officer Cadet Wing, SLMA attended the occasion as the Chief Guest where many traditional games and entertaining features were conducted.
Many officers, Other Ranks and their family members took part in the ceremony.
The Commanding Officer of 7 SLSC and the day’s Chief Guest distributed gift parcels among winners who participated in different games and competitions.
Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen) has also given his support to the project.
