Troops of the 7 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) of the 234 Infantry Division under command to the 23 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-East contributed their assistance to re-arrange two new alternative examination halls for Advanced Level candidates in Polonnaruwa Royal College during their Advanced Level exam on 02 February.
Due to torrential rains, the Advanced Level examination halls at Royal College Polonnaruwa had been affected due to overflowing muddy waters on Thursday (2). At the request of an exam coordinating officer of the Thamankaduwa Divisional Secretariat Division, 7 SLA troops promptly attended to rearrangement of the exam hall for uninterrupted conduct of the exam as planned.
On the directions of the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Division and Brigade Commander of the 234 Brigade, troops made alternative arrangements for the candidates to continue uninterrupted under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer, 7 SLA.
