7 More Deaths Reported Within last 24 Hours - NOCPCO

As of this morning (23), a total of 428 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. One Of them, Sri Lankan expatriates and the rest 427 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 193 from Kaluthara, 101 from Colombo district, 42 from Trincomalee, District and other 91 are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (23), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 34,377. Meanwhile, 25, 892 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from fish market (31,318) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

Up to yesterday (22), a total of 38,058 persons have been confirmed COVID-19 positive from all over the country, including the dead. 29,299 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 8,576 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (23), 618 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the last 24 hours. In the past 24 hours. seven deaths have been reported from Welikada Prison, Dharga Town, Colombo 7, Colombo 10, Colombo 15, Maggona and Dankotuwa areas. Accordingly, the death toll from the country remains as 183 in this morning (23).

By this morning (23), the flight UL 104 from the Maldives with 14 passengers, the flight QR668 from Qatar with 20 passengers, the flight 6E 9034 from India with 14 passengers, the flight UL 218 from Qatar with 4 passengers, the flight UL226 from UAE with 44 passengers, and the flight UL 1365 with 05 passengers from Indonesia have arrived. The flight UL 1041 from India with 38 passengers, the flight UL102 from the Maldives with a passenger, the flight UL 190 from Bangladesh with 25 passengers, the flight UL303 from Singapore with 10 Passengers, the flight UL 881 from China with 04 Passengers and the flight EK 468 from UAE with 16 passengers and the flight EY264 from UAE with 50 passengers expected to arrive here within the day. They all were/were to be referred to Quarantine Centers (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (23), 6,292 persons in 72 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (22), 11,672PCR tests were conducted.Running sneakers | Air Jordan
