In order to further improve goodwill and bonds of understanding while creating full confidence, 651 Brigade together with under command Battalions of 19 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and 11(Volunteer) Gajaba Regiment (GR) invited all Grama Niladareen (rural state officials) serving in areas of the 651 Brigade on Sunday (23) morning hours to their Officers' Mess at the 19 SLLI camp.
Eight Grama Seva officials, including two lady officers attended the interactive meeting, chaired by the host, Commander, 651 Brigade along with Commanding Officers and Officers of 2nd In Command of both Battalions and Civil Affairs Officer of the 651 Brigade. The novel approach, initiated by Major General G V Ravipriya, Commander Security Forces, Kilinochchi was being held in other respective areas as well.
