64 Division GOC Visits His Under-Command Troops

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 64 Infantry Division, Major General M.S. Devapriya USP ndc, visited the 641 Infantry Brigade and 8 Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment (8 SLA) on 16 March 2024.

Brigadier D.B.L. Colonne USP, the Commander of the 641 Infantry Brigade and Lieutenant Colonel H.H.M.P.J.B. Herath RSP psc, the Commanding Officer of 8 SLA warmly welcomed the visiting Senior Officer upon his arrival.

The visiting GOC of the 64 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed according a Guard Turnout at the entrance and participated in briefings on the role, tasks, and the present situation in the respective areas. The official visit of GOC of the 64 Infantry Division, culminated with troops addresses at both locations. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the events.
