62 Div Troops Attend Spiritual & Personality Development Programmes

A programme, initiated by the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 62 Division, Major General B.H.M.A Wijesinghe for promotion of spiritual aspects of the officers and other ranks under command to the 62 Division was held at the Divisional Headquarters at Galkulama on Navam Full Moon Poya day (10).

A total of 300 Army personnel attended the programme, conducted by the Chief Incumbent at Veheragala Rajamaha Viharaya, Ven Imbulgoda Pangnaseela Thero.

62 Division General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders of 621 and 622 Brigades and many senior officers of the 62 Division joined the arrangement.

Meanwhile, on the directions of the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 62 Division Major General B.H.M.A Wijesinghe, a programme on ‘Personality Development’ was conducted at the 62 Divisional Headquarters, Gymnasium at Galkulama on Wednesday (8).

This programme was initiated with the aim of improving the ‘Personality’ as well as the working capacity of officers and other ranks serving under the 62 Division.

This valuable lecture on ‘Personality Development’ was conducted by the Brigade Commander, 623 Brigade Colonel M.K.U.P Gunarathne.

More than 250 officers and soldiers of all Brigade & Battalion under the 62 Division listened to this lecture along with senior officers of the 62 Division.
