The recently-appointed General Officer Commanding of the 61 Infantry Division, Major General Udaya Herath held cordial meetings with Mr Willy Gamage, Governor of the Southern Province and Mr Shantha Weerasinghe, District Secretary for Galle on 24 November 2022.
During these meetings, several salient aspects pertaining to the security of Galle District and civil coordination matters were discussed at the Governor’s office and the District Secretariat office, respectively.
