6 Sri Lanka Artillery troops of the 141 Brigade as their contribution to the Army anniversary planted 500 Jasmine saplings inside the Dathukanda Sri Jinendrarama Raja Maha Viharaya in Kalalpitiya at the request of the monks on Tuesday (18).
The project was carried out under the instructions of Brigadier Pradeep Gamage, Commander, 141 Brigade with the blessings of the General Officer Commanding, 14 Division and the Commander, Security Forces - West.
Saplings were provided by the monks at the temple.
