593 Brigade's SLSR Troops Gift PPE Overalls to Fellow Troops

5 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 59 Division and on the directions of the Commander 593 Brigade donated a stock of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) overalls to the Army Base Hospital in Mullaittivu on Tuesday (05).

In order to help Army personnel, engaged in COVID-19 preventive measures as well as those medical staff of the Sri Lanka Army who are actively combating against the virus in several quarantine centers in the area, the SLSR Battalion made those stocks available to their fellow-men.

General Officer Commanding 59 Division Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander 593 Brigade Colonel Wasantha Palamakumbura, Officer Commanding at the Army Base Hospital-MLT, several staff officers of the 59 Division and officers attended the formal handover at the 59 Division Headquarters.
