581 Brigade troops of the 58 Division under command to the 1 Corp HQ pocketed out their own money and gifted school accessories to 50 students of low-income families studying at Crisler Farm Tamil school in Kotagala on Tuesday (4).
Brigadier Nilanga Fernando, Commander, 581 Brigade, Staff Officers and All Ranks contributed to the purchase of those school needs as those parents find it difficult to buy those requirements. During this programme, snacks were served to all attendees.
Commander 581 Brigade, and a few senior Officers attended the occasion.
