To be in line with the 'Thuru Mithuru Nawa Ratak' concept of the Commander of the Army, 58 Division troops in parallel with a programme, initiated by Lions Club of Negombo simultaneously carried out at the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Headquarters planted 100 saplings of TJ (Alponsu) mangoes inside the 58 Division Headquarter premises in Puttalam on Friday (3).
The project, launched under the guidance of the General Officer Commander 58 Division, Major General Rohitha Aluvihare was attended by Colonel-General Staff, Colonel Jude Kariyakarawana, Staff Officers of the Division, and Other Ranks who joined planting.
