573 Brigade Celebrates Its 3rd Anniversary

573 Infantry Brigade troops of the 57 Infantry Division under the Security Force HQ-Mullaitivu, recently celebrated its 3rd anniversary amidst military traditions and religious rituals on Thursday (March 02). It was organized under the guidance of Brigadier Ramith Prasanna, Commander, 573 Infantry Brigade.at the camp premises in Mankulam.

The brief celebration began with a Guard Turnout offered to the Commander, 573 Infantry Brigade at the entrance after he was warmly welcomed by Brigade Staff Officers at the entrance. Afterwards, he addressed the troops before participating in an All-Rank lunch arranged

Furthermore, during the evening, troops conducted a ‘Bodhi Pooja’ after inviting the members of Maha Sangha to the camp premises with the intention of transferring merits on fallen war heroes and invoking blessings on the serving, the injured and retired Brigade troops.
