A lecture on ‘Prevention from Use of Narcotics’ was delivered to 571 Brigade troops by Mr A.M.S.T.B Attanayake, Investigation Officer, Excise Department, Trincomalee on Friday (24) at the invitation of the 571 Brigade Commander.
The lecture covered identification of drugs, varieties of drugs, adverse effects, health effects and related areas of concern and legal implications, etc. It was organized under the guidance of Brigadier Kapila Dolage, 571 Brigade Commander under the supervision of the 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Commanding Officer.
