Several Formations under the 57 Division Headquarters in the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) organized several programmes to mark Vesak Poya Day.
572 Brigade, together with 8 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 6 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops organized a Dansela of biscuits & refreshments. Also, the 574 Brigade organized a Rice Dansela at Mankulam area which attracted many civilians.
Meanwhile, 574 Brigade, 12 SLSR and 4 SLNG troops conducted a Bodhi Pooja at their respective headquarters to invoke blessings on fallen and disable War Heroes. Officers and other rankers participated in the activities.
