The health promotion unit of the Rajarata University conducted the ‘Sathuta’ two-day workshop for health promotion of the troops in the 56 Division at its Headquarters during November 08-09, as part of the university’s welfare lectures.
The programme covered subjects such as enhancement of the quality of family life, preventing from smoking and consuming of liquor, Non Communicable Diseases and improving of the integrated skills of children in military families.
Mr. Duminda Guruge, Senior Lecturer at Rajarata University conducted the programme and his team provided the instructor support.
More than 120 Officers and Other Ranks attended the workshop.
