Troops of the 541 Infantry Brigade recently inaugurated Reverse Osmosis (RO) Drinking Water System at Brigade premises on 06 March 2024.
This development caters the drinking water needs of tri-services troops, residents in the area and commuters traversing the A32 Road from Mannar to Jaffna. The project was initiated under the guidance of Brigadier B.Y.C. Fernando RWP USP, the Commander of the 541 Infantry Brigade and the troops of the 541 Infantry Brigade extended their assistance to establish the system.
Major General K.M.P.S.B. Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division, graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and a few civilians in the area were also present during the event.
