532 Infantry Brigade celebrated its 14th anniversary amidst military traditions and religious rituals under the guidance of Colonel C.P. Wickramarathne RSP USP, the Commander, 532 Infantry Brigade at the camp premises in Sandunpura on 04 March 2024.
To commence the anniversary programme, the troops greeted the Commander in a Guard Turnout at the entrance, followed by a ceremonial parade. Afterwards, the Commander planted a sapling at the Brigade premises and interacted with the troops during an All Ranks lunch.
In the evening, the troops conducted a “Bodhi Pooja” with the intention of transferring merit to fallen war heroes and invoking blessings upon serving, injured, and retired Army personnel. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in these events.
