Colonel Palitha Godellawatta of Sri Lanka Engineers assumed office as the 32nd Commander of the 515 Brigade of the 51 Division in Vasavilan under the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Wednesday (22).
The newly-appointed Brigade Commander was greeted in a military Guard Turnout by the troops at the main entrance of the Brigade soon after his arrival.
Subsequently, he symbolized the acceptance of his new office by signing a formal document amid religious blessings.
