513 Infantry Brigade troops of 51 the Infantry Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna offered lunch to the residents at Sivapoomi Elders Home in Chundipuram on 23 August 2023 as a civil-community oriented project.
The treat coincided with the forthcoming 28th Brigade Day Anniversary. Troops of the 513 Infantry Brigade with the blessings of the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc and on the directions of Brigadier M.R Razick RSP, Brigade Commander of the 513 Infantry Brigade conducted the programme.
Accordingly, 35 male and 65 female elderly people enjoyed the Army hospitality and were subsequently entertained to music. In addition, a stock of essentials was also donated to the Sivapoomi Elders' Home for the benefit of the residents.
