A group of about 50 Army personnel at the invitation of the authorities at OKI International School at Wattala joined a blood donation programme organized by the school and donated their blood to the Narahenpita, Central Blood Bank on Saturday (10).
Brigadier Bandula Kariyawasam, Commander, 141 Infantry Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters-West along with the Civil Affairs Officer of the 141 Infantry Brigade joined the blood donation by offering their own blood to the programme.
