417 Persons Leave Quarantine Centers - NOCPCO

As of this morning (19), a total of 1,420 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, 18 were Sri Lankan expatriates. The rest 1,402 were locally-identified positive cases, including the majority 256 from Colombo District, 169 from Gampaha District, 151 from Kalutara District and 826 others from different other Districts, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (19), a total of 284,931 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. Among them, 176,283 were reported after the New Year.

By Monday (19) morning (past 24 hours), 843 recovered patients have left Intermediate Care Centers and Hospitals. On 17 July, 46 more deaths have been reported including 30 males and 16 females.

As of this morning (19), 4,960 persons in 72 hotels and tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. By Monday (19) morning, 417 persons have left 24 QCs after completion of their quarantining process.

As of this morning (19), the number of isolated areas of the island remains unchanged.
