403 Persons Confirmed Positive within Last 24 Hours -NOCPCO

As of this morning (4), a total of 403 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All of them are locally-identified affectees, including the majority 81 from Colombo district, 56 from Kandy district, 30 from Gampaha and other 236 are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (4), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 41,009. Meanwhile, 34,494 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from the fish market (37,950) and Minuwangoda (3,059) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

By this morning (4), a total of 44,773 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 37,251 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,309 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (4), 535 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the past 24 hours. 02 more deaths have been reported from Colombo 15 and Welipenna areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 213 by this morning (3).

By this morning (4), the flight UL 1264 from Saudi Arabia with 50 passengers and the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 27 passengers have arrived.

The flight UL 102 from the Maldives with 2 passengers, the flight UL 184 from Pakistan with one passenger, the flight PQ 555 from Ukraine with 95 passengers and the flight UL 186 from Pakistan with 10 passengers are expected to arrive here within the day. They all were to be referred to Quarantine Centers (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (4), 4,580 persons in 79 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (3), 10,719 PCR tests have been conducted. Best Nike Sneakers | Autres
