35 Deserving Students in Kirinda Gifted with School Accessories

Troops of the 23 Gajaba Regiment under command to the 122 Brigade of the 12 Division of the Security Forces - Central with sponsorship provided by a donor in the South, distributed school accessories among needy students learning at Kirindagama Primary school in Kirinda, Matara on Sunday (12).

35 needy students were benefited thru the programme, conducted under the coordination of Major General Prasanna Ranawaka, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 12 Division. Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces-Central gave his blessings to the community-oriented project.

Sponsorship was coordinated by the GOC 12 Division in close cooperation with Brigadier Janaka Pallekumbura, 112 Brigade Commander and Commanding Officer 23 Gajaba Regiment who also closely supervised the troops during the programme.
