The Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) further broadening its scope on community service projects once again extended its helping hand on Sunday (20) and gave away school accessories and dry ration packs to 30 needy students at Palaly North Government’s Tamil Mixed School with sponsorship received from South-based donors.
Mrs. Thilaka Perera, a United Kingdom-based philanthropist, assisted by Mrs Kushini Liyanage, the daughter of late Brigadier R.P Liyanage sponsored the stock of essentials through the coordination of Colonel Suranga De Silva, Colonel Coordinator at SFHQ-J.
Major General Chandana Wijayasundara, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, together with Brigadier Dammika Karunapala, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-J, Brigadier Anura Bandara, Brigadier Admin and Quartering at SFHQ-J.
