3 (V) SLSR Troops Douse a Fire

Troops of the 112 Brigade under the 11 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ- C), took immediate action to bring a fast spreading fire under control in the general area of Lindula, Agarapathana on Tuesday (17).

The fire that broke out in the Lindula forest area was brought to the notice of the troops of the 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) who reached the area swiftly and brought it under control.

More than 30 Army personnel at ground level contributed to wrest control of the fast spreading fire.
