Troops of the 3 (V) Sinha Regiment (SLSR) under the 112 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) organized an alms-giving ceremony to invoke merits on fallen war heroes on Sunday (20) at the International Buddhist Centre, Nuwara Eliya.
The event was organized under the directions of the Commanding Officer, 3 (V) SLSR.
170 relatives of the war heroes and officers of the 3(V) SLSR attended the event.
Parallel to the event, the Commanding Officer, 3(V) SLSR donated a stock of school items to the children of war heroes at the Battalion Headquarters.
