A record 250 school children in Kilinochchi area consequent upon an initiative taken by the Security Force HQ - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) received free school accessories and books on Saturday (20) during a ceremony, held at in General area Kilinochchi.
A donor family from Ratnapura, Kuruwita area in coordination with Brigadier Saman Liyanage, Brigadier General Staff, SFHQ-KLN came forward to sponsor the cost of these items considering hardships of those needy families in Kilinochchi area which have been identified by the office of the Civil Affairs Officer at SFHQ-KLN.
The distribution ceremony was organized by Lieutenant Colonel Lal Kithsiri, Civil Affairs Coordinator and SFHQ-KLN troops.
