Troops of the 23 Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment provided assistance for conduct of a blood donation programme, organized by Muhudumaha Viharya at Pottuvil on 01 June 2022.
A team of doctors of the Ampara Base Hospital Blood Bank with staff and equipment launched the blood collecting process. A total of 65 Army Personnel, including 2 Officers and 63 Other Ranks of the 242 Brigade and under command battalions donated their blood to make the project a success.
