A leadership training program was conducted by the 24 Infantry Division at Gonagala Vidyalaya and Deegawapiya Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya in Ampara on 09 April 2024.
This program was conducted under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, Major General W. Chandrasiri RSP USP psc. The aim of this program was to empower and uplift the youth by developing their leadership skills through interactive workshops and activities. Students actively participated and learned essential skills such as communication, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving.
Additionally, as part of the program, 80 school accessories packs were distributed among the children to uplift their educational standards, sponsored by Hemas Pvt Ltd. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, the principal, and teaching staff participated in the event.
