A specially-designed leadership training program was conducted for 65 students at Kavanthissa College, Ampara on 14 March 2024 at 24 Infantry Division Headquarters.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Major General W. Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, with the aim of developing students' leadership qualities in line with dynamic world trends. In line with the leadership training program, a meaningful environmental initiative took place where distributed 65 Mee Trees (Madhucalongifolia) among the students for the benefit of environmental protection.
Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
