233 Brigade troops of the 23 Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters - East volunteered to donate dry ration packs for 20 families in Telingu village in Welikanda Sewanapitiya on Friday (25).
The event was coordinated by the Commander 233 Brigade - Colonel Wasantha Hewage under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 23 Division - Major General Nalin Koswatte and the Commander Security Force Headquarters - East - Major General Channa Weerasuriya.
The Commander 233 Brigade attended the distribution of those dry rations among needy families and inquired into their well-being during the interactions in the village.
Senior Officers, Other Ranks and civilians attended the occasion.
