233 Brigade Troops with Police Arrest Man with Kerala Cannabis

On information received, 3 (Volunteer) Military Intelligence Corps troops of the 233 Infantry Brigade, together with Valachchenai Policemen arrested a suspect with 3 kg and 20g of 'Kerala' cannabis (worth of Rs. 1,000,000/=) at Jayanthiyaya on 24 November 2022.

The suspect with cannabis was handed over to the Valachchenai Police Station for further investigations.

Commander, Security Forces-East, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division and the Commander of the 233 Infantry Brigade closely monitored the above raid.
