231 Brigade Troops Renovate One More House & Vested it in the Deserving Family

Strengthening bonds of good rapport between civil and military cooperation, 4 Gemunu Watch (GW) troops under command to the 231 Brigade of the 23 Division of the Security Force HQ-East, renovated & refurbished one more house for a deserving family in Valachchenai, Batticaloa and vested it to the family on Thursday (28).

The sponsorship, provided by K.Logendran, Chairman MJF Zone-Region 1, Zone 1 and President of “77 Thoughts for Hope” of the Lions Club enabled the 4 GW troops to complete the project within weeks.

After economic hardships and the living condition of Mrs Komalam’s family was brought to the notice of the philanthropist by the Commander, 231 Brigade, Brigadier Dipula Bandara, the donor consented to sponsor the project. The inaugural warming ceremony was attended by Commander, 231 Brigade as the Chief Guest.
