A two-day workshop was held to educate officers serving the 23 Division of the Security Force Headquarters – East (SFHQ- E) during February 25 - 26 at the 23 Division Headquarter premises on the directions of Major General D. D. U. K. Hettiarachchi, General Officer Commanding 23 Division.
The workshop on 'Global Information System (GIS)' was conducted by Lieutenant Colonel L. R. K. Kahandagamage of Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), Lieutenant A. A. A. Chinthaka of Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) and Captain W. M. P. Wasantha of Gemunu Watch serving the Research and Development Centre (R&D ) – Ministry of Defence.
40 Officers serving different Headquarters under the 23 Division participated in the workshop.
