On information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps, Intelligence troops attached to the 223 Brigade of the 22 Division, together with Sardhapura Special Task Force officials, a person with 5g of Methamphetamine Drugs (Ice) was arrested in Kinniya area on Sunday (9).
The suspect with the drug was handed over to the Kinniya Police Station for further investigations.
Commander, Security Forces -East, together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Division and the Commander, 223 Brigades closely monitored the incident.
