One more house, erected by troops of the 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) under command to the 222 Brigade of the 22 Division for a needy family in the general area of Verugal, Trincomalee with the financial assistance of Mr Sarath Yahampath, the donor was vested in the family during a simple ceremony, on Saturday (25).
This project was launched under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 22 Division Major General Aruna Jayasekara with the close the supervision of Brigadier Deepal Pussella, 222 Brigade Commander.
The donor at the same occasion gifted the family with pieces of new furniture and simultaneously gave away a stock of sports items to the youths in the area.
